Investcorp debuts eLydian Lion: A global institutional blockchain fund from Abu Dhabi
Investcorp has confirmed the launch of the world's first global institutional blockchain fund from the populous city of the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi. This marks another step toward blockchain and crypto adoption from the UAE which had also recently legalized crypto and set up new policies for these blockchain-based assets.

It is also a fact that as per the official announcement, eLydian Lion is the first dedicated institutional blockchain fund based in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).The official announcement also added that the fund revealed by Investcorp "will enable investors to gain early exposure to the rapid growth of the blockchain ecosystem, which is at the forefront of the digital transformation of the economy." It further added:
The Fund will mainly invest in early-stage companies operating in areas within the blockchain ecosystem such as blockchain infrastructure, platforms and exchanges, decentralized finance, and data analytics.
Blockchain adoption in UAE
It is important to note that the United Arab Emirates UAE has been increasingly favoring blockchain-based firms and crypto exchanges.
