As event organizers plan their return, one business is looking to cryptocurrency as a new form of payment. E11EVEN has taken the initiative to become the first major nightlife venue in the United States to accept Bitcoin.

E11EVEN Miami is one of the leading ultra-clubs in Miami. Earlier today, they announced that they are now accepting Bitcoin as payment for their services. This move comes as the company plans its post-pandemic reopening on April 23.According to the press release, E11EVEN has become the first major nightlife venue in the United States to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In a statement, the club said: "E11EVEN MIAMI, the award-winning 24/7 ultraclub located in the heart of Downtown Miami, today announced that they are the first major nightclub in the United States to accept Cryptocurrency as a form of payment.”
E11EVEN MIAMI added that users can now pay for tables, drinks and merchandise using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The company believes the new payment option is a true testament to the E11EVEN Partners hospitality group's commitment to continuously finding great ways to lead the industry.
Dennis DeGori, Creator/CEO of E11EVEN MIAMI, commented that the tremendous growth & relevancy of cryptocurrencies added with Mayor Francis Suarez's efforts to lead the charge for Miami's tech boom helped convince them to make the move. According to the Miami Herald, E11EVEN is taking this action as part of its post-pandemic reopening strategy which will launch on April 23. The venue has been shut down since March 2020 following the Coronavirus outbreak in the United States and is eager to begin operating again.
