Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com is expanding its presence in the sporting world after signing a partnership with UFC.
Crypto.com becomes UFC’s official fight kit partner
Leading cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has announced that it has signed a partnership deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The deal with the world’s leading mixed martial arts organization would see Crypto.com become its official global flight kit partner.
According to the terms of the agreement, Crypto.com would have its logo placed on UFC apparel won by the fighters in competitions and the clothes worn by their cornermen and women. The UFC also has apparel manufacturer Venum as an existing partner, and the company’s logo appears on the athletes’ kits.
However, UFC spokesperson Chris Bellitti clarified that Venum is the organization’s official outfitting and apparel partner. This implies that Venum is in charge of “designing the fight kits for athletes to wear in competition as well as the fan apparel available for purchase.” Meanwhile, Crypto.com will serve as the official branding partner on the fight kits. However, the cryptocurrency exchange will not play any role in the design and manufacture of the fight kits
