Bulgaria Stock Exchange ready to launch BTC and ETH based ETNs
Bulgaria Stock Exchange has confirmed in a recent announcement that it will be launching its Bitcoin and Ethereum-based Exchange Traded Notes (ETN). With this new launch, the citizens of the nation will continue to get exposure to the price action of cryptocurrencies without actually investing in these volatile blockchain-based assets.
Bulgaria Stock Exchange brings 8 ETNs
BSE has released eight ETNs that will be based on the two cryptocurrencies in the market. Moreover, it seems that the authorities have been influenced by the recent surge in the crypto industry as the market cap of the entire industry crossed $3 trillion last year.As per the announcement, "by launching the new instruments, the Bulgaria Stock Exchange joins leading European exchanges such as Deutsche Borse and Euronext, which started trading in these instruments two years ago." The announcement also added the following statement:
"With BSE International crypto ETNs, investors are not committed to creating own crypto wallets or cryptographic keys, while receiving guarantees that the instruments they choose are systematically regulated and regulatory compliant."
Long term partnership with AG
As per the announcement, the launch of the ETNs will strengthen the partnership of the Bulgaria Stock Exchange with Deutsche Börse and market maker Tradegate AG. The popularity of ETNs has risen to an all-time high despite the current bearish movement of the market.
