Last month, we put on the brakes, investing just $10,000 in the market. Why? We knew the market was going to dump. Today, with a -6.30% plunge, it turns out we were spot on!
ICYMI our “Skin in the Game” (SITG) series lets you peek behind the curtain as we put our money where our mouth is, making monthly investments into the crypto market. Here’s a rundown of our investments to date:

- March 2023: $40,000

For this month, we were itching to splash out $50,000, but the market’s not quite ripe yet 🤷🏼♂️

Imagine this – what if we put our investing on pause today and simply let things be for the next 5+ years? What’s the potential payoff?
You might be tempted to throw out some wildly optimistic numbers, thinking it’s a “sure thing”. That could lead to unrealistic expectations, though. So instead, we use a method known as the “Expected Value“. This calculates outcomes based on probability.
So, what are we looking at in terms of SITG’s projected growth?
- Initial Investment: $85,000
- Expected Target: $1,403,379
Just for kicks, let’s also consider the Best Case and Worst Case scenarios:
- Best Case (Maximum Growth): $2,517,647
- Worst Case (Maximum Loss): -$62,891

Mind you, these figures don’t factor in our ongoing investments, our reinvestment of profits, and our ability of pulling out before a big loss. So, believe it or not, these projections are quite conservative.
