Elon Musk is on the verge of selling his first non-fungible token (NFT), and it is a song about NFT. The NFT has already attracted several bids, with one of them over a million dollars. NFTs have become largely popular in the digital world, and their popularity only seems to be increasing.

Elon Musk sings about NFTs

Tesla and SpaceX’s CEO Elon Musk is set to sell his first NFT. The NFT is a song about NFTs. Musk announced this via his Twitter handle on March 16, revealing that this particular NFT is a song about NFTs.  He tweeted, “I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT.” The unique nature of the NFT is already attracting attention from would-be investors.

Elon Musk didn’t provide a link to the NFT in his tweet. However, it appears the NFT is on sale on the Valuables platform. The NFT is already gaining attention from investors, with one of them offering 625 ETH (roughly $1.1 million) for the piece.

The NFT market is growing popular in the digital world. Last week, Christie’s auction house sold the Beeple NFT for $69.3 million, making it the most expensive piece of digital art ever sold. Furthermore, more artists and companies are venturing into the NFT space.

DC Comics announced over the weekend that it is considering entering the NFT market. The comics’ publisher intends to digitalize its action figures and create new ones to distribute and sell them as NFTs.

The top bid for Musk’s NFT was made by user SinaEstavi. The same user also has the top bid of $2.5 million for the NFT representing Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s first tweet. However, Elon Musk is yet to sell the NFT or make a statement regarding it.
